Planning a trip to Southeast Asia and looking for the ultimate mix of pristine beaches, ancient cultures, world-class surf, and wild dragons? This 15-day Indonesia itinerary connects four distinct island destinations with a logical flight schedule: Karimunjawa, Sumba, Bali, and Komodo National Park.
15-Day Indonesia Travel Overview
Arrive in Indonesia via Jakarta (CGK) or Semarang (SRG) and ferry to Karimunjawa. Enjoy pristine white-sand beaches, secluded island hopping, and vibrant coral reef snorkeling.
Fly from Semarang or Bali to Sumba. Explore Weekuri Lagoon, traditional thatched-roof villages (Ratenggaro), Lapopu Waterfall, and Wairinding savannah hills.
Fly to Bali. Spend 2 days in Ubud (sacred monkey forest, rice terraces, spiritual wellness) and 2 days in Uluwatu (world-class surfing, cliffside temples, beach clubs).
Fly to Labuan Bajo for a Komodo liveaboard expedition. Hike Padar Island, encounter wild Komodo dragons, swim at Pink Beach, and snorkel with Manta Rays.
Return flight from Labuan Bajo (LBJ) to Bali (DPS) or Jakarta (CGK) for your international departure flight.
Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Days 1–3: Karimunjawa – Off-the-Beaten-Path Marine Sanctuary
